    Problems of Oriental Philosophy

    The journal Problems of Oriental Philosophy publishes original scholarly research devoted to the philosophical traditions, intellectual history, cultural heritage, and contemporary interpretations of Eastern thought. The journal welcomes contributions in areas such as:

    • Oriental philosophy
    • Islamic philosophy
    • Eastern metaphysics and epistemology
    • Comparative philosophy
    • History of philosophy in the East
    • Religious and mystical traditions
    • Cultural and intellectual history of Eastern civilizations
    • Contemporary philosophical interpretations of Oriental thought

    The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, and theoretical studies that contribute to the development of philosophical scholarship.

    1. Manuscript Submission

    Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts through the online submission system whenever possible.

    1. Submission Preparation Checklist

    As part of the submission process, authors must ensure that their manuscript complies with the following requirements:

    ✔ The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.

    ✔ The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), OpenOffice, or RTF format.

    ✔ URLs or DOIs for references are provided where available.

    ✔ The manuscript text:

    • uses 12-point font
    • is single-spaced
    • uses italics instead of underlining (except for URLs)
    • includes figures, tables, and illustrations within the text at appropriate positions

    ✔ The manuscript follows the stylistic and bibliographic standards described in the Author Guidelines.

    Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for technical revision before peer review.

    1. Manuscript Structure

    Manuscripts should normally contain the following elements:

    • Title of the article
    • Author(s) name(s)
    • Institutional affiliation(s)
    • ORCID ID (if available)
    • Abstract (150–250 words)
    • Keywords (4–6 keywords)
    • Introduction
    • Literature Review / Theoretical Background
    • Methodology (if applicable)
    • Analysis / Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgements (optional)
    • Conflict of Interest Statement
    • References
    1. Language

    Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English. Submissions may also be considered in other major academic languages depending on the journal policy.

    Authors are encouraged to ensure professional language editing before submission.

    1. Plagiarism Policy

    The journal maintains strict standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

    All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software.

    • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
    • Proper citation of all sources is required.
    • Cases of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication will result in immediate rejection.

    All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
